Earl Upham --All bully breeds are potentially dangerous. Shameful these dogs are up for adoption. We know why they were surrendered. I believe a lot of people lie when they surrender their dogs.

Just did a check on the local animal shelter to see what kind of dogs were available for adoption. It makes me sick to see that 13 of 20 dogs are molossers. Six Pits, one Rott, one Boxer/Pit, one Bull dog, one Boxer, two Lab/Pit mixes (they call them "Lab mix"), and a Bull Terrier. These dogs should not be up for adoption. All bully breeds are potentially dangerous. Shameful these dogs are up for adoption. We know why they were surrendered. I believe a lot of people lie when they surrender their dogs.

  • Dawn Dalyce I think more and more people are getting wise, and seeing the statistics, and giving them a pass...they've been a dime a dozen for years, with the most broke, least responsible of all citizens buying and owning and breeding them....

  • Jean Olszewski Here's a better one . I checked a shelter that a lady I know dropped off her 10 year old pit bull because her son was leaving for the service and she didn't want to take care of it . His friend didn't want if because he was afraid it would fight with his . So I checked to see if he was listed, out of 108 dogs, 90 were pit bulls and pit mixes. 2 chihuahuas, 2 small dog , and 15 others.

  • Jean Olszewski Just think how much money would be saved and all those dogs would not be in cages if they stopped breeding them .
