I blame children's TV shows. They were raised parked in front of the TV and never got past the magical thinking stage.

Almost right, it was not animals sneaking in to steal babies, it was fairies! And they put one of their own children in its place. Thought everyone knew that.

I think this person is just pulling your chain, trying to get people riled up. There are people out there that will do that, but there is no one out there that could possibly be this stupid

Yep and she doesn't neuter her pits cause she doesn't believe the tooth fairy had expanded business to take her pit's balls while he sleeps.

I don't think it's parody. If she was making a joke she would be talking about her pet anteater or something. Sadly I have discussed the pit bull problem with many advocates that say the same thing.

Now they were in nurseries?! Next they will say that they were in maternity wards or were used to protect newborn babies who were at risk of being taken by little gremlins...

Pit bulls were midwives! They needed strong jaws and sharp teeth to cut the umbilical cord.

Yes Ms Sonya Del Rio Cerezo..they are right, when my daughter was born I had a Pit Bull midwife...unfortunately, my little darlin'has changed her name, to "Truth and Liberty" from our family name(too middle class and "white" )We live in a run down repo
ssessed shack, but not to worry, we have plenty of $ to feed "Fluffy" and "Sweetheart", the shelter felt "Brutus & His B----"too "forward" Please laugh at this lame attempt to make everyone smile, otherwise many of us would cry. Bonny Thomas Lee RN

Hahaha, standard line "I don't own a pit bull", which is supposed to prove everything they say is so objective that it's Science.

Just like that little whispering ear game we played sitting in a circle and the original comment became so outlandishly different from the final comment, the nanny dog myth just gets more and more crazy as it is spread along by pitters.

They were used in daycare centers to help watch the children. Laura Ingalls said her bulldog jack used to cook dinner when Ma was Ill & bring in wood when Pa was away.

And shake the eggs out of the chickens when they didn't want to lay.
It's all in how you raise them chickens sometimes you have to be the Alpha chicken shaker!

Jack trained the chickens so that he could just make eye contact with em and the eggs would just start rolling out.
